Bear Paw is peacefully tucked away amidst the white pine and wooded acres of the North Ga. Mountains overlooking beautiful mountain vistas. Located within the Rocking Chair Ridge development convenient to the Angels Loft cabin & Lazy Bear Lodge for families needing multiple homes to rent.
From the morning mist of the mountain air to the crisp breeze of the evening, Bear Paw will treat you to a relaxing & comfortable environment. The warmth of a stone gas log fireplace hearth and cabin style furnishings will allow you to take advantage of a beautiful cedar home in the true mountain tradition. From your base here, you can expand your activities to lake & stream fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking or visiting historic downtown Blue Ridge…or just relax and take it easy in the 6 person hot tub.
The main level offers a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with dining area for four with an additional dining area in the great room for four as well. Enjoy outside dining on the screened porch and the gas BBQ grill that is provided for your grilling endeavors. Within the great room, watch Satellite TV with VCR/DVD, or simply relax on a comfortable Queen Sleeper sofa & love seat next to a warm fire. In addition there is a radio/CD player & board games are provided for your entertainment.
Also located on the main level, is a large and beautifully furnished master bedroom with a spacious King size bed for your sleeping comfort. The master bathroom has an attractive & uniquely decorated Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower.
The upper level offers an open loft with a Queen Sleeper sofa and an entertainment center with Satellite TV/VCR…a great area for the kids or to just sit back and enjoy quiet time. In addition there is a separate second bedroom with Queen Size bed & a full second bathroom.
Located downstairs in an unfinished basement is a laundry area with washer & dryer, dart board, kid’s small multi game board table, & horse shoes to throw. Simply absorb the beauty & serenity of the mountain surroundings, day or night you will be rewarded with pleasures of this area. |

Each rental is subject to a one time only Flat Rate Cleaning Fee & 10% lodging tax*.
Effective January 1, 2012, the Hotel & Motel Lodging tax rate will increase to 12%. All reservations for stays in 2012 will be subject to this new tax and tax calculations will be adjusted accordingly after January 1st.
Rates are based on 1-4 people. Children under 3 stay for free. For parties of 5 or more people, there is an additional charge of $10 per person per night plus 10% lodging tax.
* Guests are to complete all check out procedures & comply with all policies. If cabin is left in unsatisfactory condition, additional cleaning fees will apply. Our Flat Rate Cleaning Fees and Policies are structured to provide our guests with the least expensive fees possible.
