Welcome to the charming Running Bear Lodge! You will feel right at home in this lovely cabin with beautiful mountain views! Ideal for honeymooners or small family looking for a luxurious rustic getaway! Running Bear Lodge is nestled in the mountains, you will feel as if you are atop of the tree canopy!
The living room has stone gas log fireplace, leather sofa, Wi Fi, satellite tv with plasma tv & dvd player. The kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast bar with seating for 2 & dining area seating 4. A gas grill is located on the main level deck for grilling.
The cabin hosts 2 bedrooms 2 baths, Queen bed on the upper level with satellite tv & dvd player with full bath. Walkout onto a balcony to enjoy your morning coffee to hear the sounds of nature. A charming antique decorated second guest bedroom is located on main level with Queen size bed & a full bath.
In addition to the upper level there is a loft are with additional quaint living area with sleeper sofa, satellite tv, game boards & more to enjoy, a great place for the kids or some quiet time to read a book.
Quiet & private, yet only 6 miles from downtown Blue Ridge where you will find shopping, dining, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway & much much more! |

Each rental is subject to a one time only Flat Rate Cleaning Fee & 10% lodging tax*.
Effective January 1, 2012, the Hotel & Motel Lodging tax rate will increase to 12%. All reservations for stays in 2012 will be subject to this new tax and tax calculations will be adjusted accordingly after January 1st.
Rates are based on 1-4 people. Children under 3 stay for free. For parties of 5 or more people, there is an additional charge of $10 per person per night plus 10% lodging tax.
* Guests are to complete all check out procedures & comply with all policies. If cabin is left in unsatisfactory condition, additional cleaning fees will apply. Our Flat Rate Cleaning Fees and Policies are structured to provide our guests with the least expensive fees possible.
Flat Rate Cleaning Fee for Running Bear Lodge is $55.00.
